Dennis Reis Training Clinic
I hope all of you are well and staying warm in spite of the weather! Like you, I am looking forward to spring and having beautiful weather for our horse plans! I would like to share with you some ideas that I have for the summer and hope that you might provide me with some feedback to help me with my plans, and possibly include you in them! I have been in contact with Fran Hancock from Dennis Reis Universal Horsemanship. https://reisranch.com/
You may have seen Dennis and his wife Deborah on RFD-TV. Fran has also been featured on a few of his recent shows. He is a natural horseman who uses methods that we find pleasing and effective in developing the relationship between horse and rider. Fran is one of only a few endorsed instructors from his organization and has offered to put on a clinic in Michigan this summer. Here is what she can do for us:
Option #1:
For riders who have or will purchase the Freedom course (the first of four courses) she will instruct a 4-day (10 hours of instruction each day) clinic for $750.00 per person. At the conclusion of the course, you will have completed what you need to receive your endorsement for course one.
Option #2:
If this is not of interest to you, but you would still like to participate in a less intensive clinic, she can do a 2-day clinic for $400.00 per person without the need to own the Freedom course.
Plans are being made to hold the clinic either in Williamston or in Pinckney at the end of June or mid-July. The facilities both have indoor arenas and stalls are available. I will get more information about the location as soon as possible. Dates will be determined based on the interest that people share in participating.
